Valery Rozov - Everest BASE jump

Mt. Everest

Russian extreme sports star, Valery Rozov, made history in May 2013 when he made the highest ever BASE jump from Mt. Everest - leaping from 7,200m on the North side of the mountain.

"Only when I got back home did I see how hard it was for me both physically and psychologically," Rozov said after completing the feat.

Rozov took a powermonkey extreme with him to the top of the world and used it to keep his essential devices including his smartphone charged during the challenge.

The image shows Rozov at 5350m prior to attemping his jump.
