Powertraveller is pleased to announce the win of a 2013 ISPO Award for our solarmonkey adventurer. This is the first time Powertraveller has entered these awards and to win one out of several hundred products that were submitted is quite an achievement.
Every year, the world renowned ISPO MUNICH trade show honors the most exceptional sporting goods products with the ISPO AWARD. A jury consisting of independent sports business professionals evaluates several hundred entries, also from non-exhibitors, according to clearly defined criteria. This high-caliber selection presents a welcome orientation aid for sports business professionals and provides retailers with a welcome tool for their future product selections.
Our 2012 award is for International Trade - presented to companies who have shown outstanding achievement in international trade, resulting in substantial growth in overseas earnings and in commercial success, sustained over not less than three years.

The red dot design award ranks amongst the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world - in 2010 over 1,600 companies from 57 countries entered. Previous winners include Apple, Nokia, Adidas and Mercedes-Benz.
The 30-strong jury comprised of international design experts who appraised, tested and rated the powermonkey explorer on innovation, functionality and self-explanatory quality.
Powertraveller won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for 2009 for the portable power range of products.
The Queen's Awards are the UK's most prestigious corporate accolade that a British business can win. They are an independent endorsement of quality and recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK companies.

In July 2009, Powertraveller attended the OutDoor Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany. A trade show aimed at international buyers, the organiser's awarded Powertraveller's solargorilla with the Outdoor Industry Award for Best Accessory.
In November 2009, Powertraveller were among the list of companies shortlisted for an iaward. In front of an international audience, Powertraveller's solarpanel for laptops, the solargorilla, was announced the winner in the Digital Communications category. CEO Jerry Ranger received the award from Lord Drayson, Minister for Science and Innovation and Dragon's Den star and international business man, James Caan.
Launched in July 2009, the iawards aim to celebrate the best of British science, technology and innovation. As such, all entrants had to specify the British involvement in their innovation - demonstrating that innovative thinking and development came from a British organisation or team.
